We are looking for a superstar administrator to join our team at Busy Bees Te Kauwhata! We are seeking a warm, welcoming, and professional individual who will hold a key role in building and maintaining relationships within our centre. The role will require the candidate to provide a high level of support to the Centre Manager through effective management of administration systems and high levels of communication with both enrolled families and external organisations.
This is a part-time 20-hour role from Monday to Friday - perfect if you are looking for school-friendly hours!
Key Responsibilities: Face to face interactions with parents, children, and visitors to the CentreMaintenance of our childcare management system (Discover) - data entry, data audits, parent invoicing, and payment receiptsAnswering and directing telephone calls in a timely, accurate, and professional mannerDaily and weekly reports and data collation as required by the Centre ManagerSupplying information to our Support Office in line with daily and weekly reporting requirementsAny other general admin-based tasks as required and requestedAbout You: Outstanding customer service ability – warm, friendly, and welcoming!Tech-savvy – you will have excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook in particular)Exceptional organisational and administration skills with a fastidious eye for detailExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work with good problem-solving abilityFlexibility and a willingness to step in and support others as requiredKnowledge of WINZ funding entitlements and experience using a childcare management system is preferred but not essentialYou will need to be available to travel to the centres to complete various administrative tasksExperience with accounts, invoices, and debts is advantageousIn return for your commitment, we offer you a competitive remuneration package which includes subsidised childcare and an excellent induction programme with mentoring and ongoing opportunities for personal development.
