The Opportunity Holcim is looking for a Night Shift Cement Tanker Driver to join our team in the Sockburn Depot. This role will support deliveries from the Greater Canterbury Region around the broader South Island. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity guaranteeing at least 40 hours a week.
About You To be successful for this role, you need to have the following skills:
Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
Previous Class 5 driving experience essential
Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe weight distribution
Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries.
