Catering Supervisor | OnGroup Te Ropu Akonga o Te Whare Wananga o Waitaha |University of Canterbury Students' Association (UCSA) We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent part time position as Catering Supervisor to join our busy and enthusiastic OnGroup team. This role is based at our events centre, Haere-roa, on the University of Canterbury's campus in Ilam.
As a Catering Supervisor, you will form part of the OnGroup catering and events team in delivering an excellent catering experience to clients across campus, as well as oversee and implement commercial events booked within Haere-roa.
Specific duties include:
Front of house supervision during eventsAppropriately rostering casual catering staff on a weekly basisSupporting, directing and training casual catering staffCatering set ups and collectionsFood preparationHours of work
Vary depending on catering delivery and function bookings – min of 20 hours per week
Must be available to work after hours and weekends
Candidates must have:
A full NZ drivers' licenceFlexible availabilityThe ability to work to a schedule released no less than 2 days in advanceAttention to detailRelevant experience in catering and hospitalityA friendly and approachable personalityAbout UCSA
