What are we looking for:
Our ESS team are looking for an exceptional Permanent Part-Time Catering Assistant to join our team at the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) in Whenuapai, Auckland. Work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Hours are rostered across 7 days a week. Total flexibility therefore required.
This is not your average Catering Assistant opportunity - this is a chance to challenge yourself in a unique environment while working with premium service and product.
You will be responsible for:
Assisting with food preparation
Preparing salads, baking & catering preparations
Providing professional customer service
Waiting/clearing tables
Receiving deliveries and unloading
Dishwashing and pot washing
Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties
Skills and experience:
If you're our ideal candidate, you will be an energetic person with a great customer service and team player focus. You will be a multitasker, organised, hardworking, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will also have a full NZ Drivers License.
Ideally, you will already have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one.
