Rostered Monday – Sunday (min 30 hours per week) Are you a next level hospitality all-rounder? Do you know your way around food service, coffee making and pride yourself on great customer service? Are you looking for a full-time position with variety? Then we want to hear from you. We have a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and flexible catering assistant to help us deliver the best food experience in the industry. Working across our various in-house kitchens and cafés in Hamilton and Waikato, to cover staff who are on leave and training days, this position promises variety and challenge! Also, the rewards are worth it, with competitive remuneration and a monthly fuel allowance. To be successful, you will need to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment whilst juggling multiple tasks at the same time. No two days are the same – one day you are serving customers in a workplace cafe, the next day you are helping with food preparation and dishes in an aged care kitchen (and everything in between). To be successful you will need to love variety and be willing to do whatever needs to be done in order to make our customers smile. Having your own transport is essential. We are looking for bubbly and responsible people who can: travel to cover shifts in the greater Waikato region assist with food preparation and cleaning discuss food preparation issues with managers and kitchen staff serve beautifully crafted café style food to customers make stunning coffees; Barista skills would be a distinct advantage operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile understand a basic level of computer literacy work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude enjoy working with customers and keep them coming back for more Who we are: Cater Plus is a food service company that is big enough to deliver, but small enough to care.
