Catering Assistant (Full-Time) - Victoria University of Wellington x 5 Full Time, Permanent Position! Work at New Zealand's leading provider of food services! Job security and stability in an essential service organisation! We are currently seeking multiple Catering Assistants to join our team at Victoria University of Wellington. The ideal candidates will have a flexible attitude and be prepared to work shift work as sites operate 7 days per week. This role is a permanent full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week during the tertiary education terms. The successful candidate must have the flexibility to work during weekends.
Responsibilities: Basic meal preparation - Cooking/Baking/Grilling Re-stock and replenish supplies Provide a warm, friendly, welcoming and professional style of service to our residents General cleaning of kitchen/front of house areas Be a team player but also able to work autonomously Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role Have a flexible approach and attitude Be hard working Be physically fit and reliable Ideally hold NZQA Food Handling certificates Units 167 & 168 Have a safety focus and an awareness of health and safety practices and protocols Benefits: Competitive remuneration.
