The Role
We are on the lookout for a talented Category Strategy Manager to drive our Ingredients portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual who has a keen understanding of market trends and strong financial acumen to drive profitability and bring a commercial lens to the business.
Reporting to the Head of Category Strategy and working hand-in-hand with the Sales team, you'll collaborate to develop and execute strategic plans. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering an Ingredients hedging and derivatives-based service portfolio to drive growth and create stickiness with customers.
Based on strategy, build robust roadmaps which align market opportunity with business capability.
Working cross-functionally to identify and prioritise new opportunities across the NPD pipeline, including scoping work to understand market dynamics, organisation fit, and building business cases to justify investment.
Responsible for pricing, collateral, and marketing campaigns to support product launches.
Responsible for pipeline prioritisation, profitability analysis, and life-cycle management of the portfolio.
About You
To be considered for this role will require:
You enjoy working in a vibrant high-growth environment.
You will ideally have 5+ years' previous experience in a similar role across commodities, food, or agriculture industries.
A university degree in Finance, Marketing, or Business Management preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
A natural level of hustle when it comes to being strategic and driving alignment on commercial objectives through a large organisation.
