About the Role We're looking for casual kitchen hands to join our awesome teams supporting with meal prep, service, cooking, and any other duties within our modern Village and Care Home kitchens.
These roles are ideal if you want some work over the holiday period, want some extra money without the permanent hours, or want to have a go at a different role earning while you learn! This could be great for someone located or easily accessible to the area by car or public transport.
You can pick up shifts in either of these roles based on your experience and qualifications but also your enthusiasm and attitude.
Your duties and responsibilities will differ depending on what role you move into (you can be involved in more than one);
however, some things will be similar across the board : Providing a safe environment to the residents. People-facing with great communication skills. Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Ensuring all health guidelines are followed. Treating residents with dignity and respect. About You We are looking for team members with the right attitude, excellent communication skills, and who can work as part of a team to provide support in maintaining our village to a high standard.
Some things that will support your application include : Good level of fitness to support in a busy kitchen or café. Previous experience is highly beneficial. Relevant certifications, as appropriate, i.e., Hygiene & Food Handling, First Aid. Impeccable personal presentation. Bright, breezy "can-do" attitude and a team focus.
