Located in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand, The Landing is a place of outstanding natural beauty and historic significance. Designed to realise the potential of the land and preserve it for future generations, the property is home to several residential sites, including the Cooper Residence, the Gabriel Residence, the Vineyard Villa and the Boathouse, operating together as a bespoke accommodation offering. A gold medal-winning vineyard was established in 2007 and a boutique winery was added in 2020. An on-site commercial nursery helps support a multi-decade native reforestation project.
The role of Housekeeper at The Landing encompasses the Residences, Winery and back-office areas. It is an important role in the cleanliness and maintenance of our assets to a high standard.
A successful candidate will be a proven professional in their field. A background in Private Residences, Luxury Lodges, Super Yachts or 5* Resorts is essential as is the experience of working in remote/ rural locations and in highly seasonal properties.
A high attention to detail, effective communication, care for the environment that we operate in and a love for people is essential for the candidate to be successful.
