Casual Health Care Assistant - Northland Corrections FacilityAbout this roleCasual (as and when required) Health Care AssistantLocated at Northland Region Corrections Facility near KaikoheAre you looking for a rewarding and challenging position within an environment that will stretch your skills and offer you ongoing support?Mo te tunga | About the role Ara Poutama Aotearoa Health Services is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of Health Care activities based at Northland Region Corrections Facility for those in our care who have ongoing complex health and/or disability needs. Within a primary health care setting, administering medication, triaging patients, assisting in health care delivery to patients, all under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
This is an opportunity for a Casual Health Care Assistant with experience in health care to join a high-performing health-led team who are dedicated and committed to developing and embedding a Kaupapa Maori based model of care into the heart of health services delivery.
Mou | About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience working with patients who have complex health and/or disability needs.The ability to work collaboratively and under instruction.A non-judgemental approach.Be eligible to work in New Zealand.The salary steps for this position are step 1 $60,100, step 2 $63,486, step 3 $67,330, step 4 $68,437 and step 5 $70,358. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
