Our reliance on great flexible staff to fill planned and unplanned leave is crucial in keeping our sites safely running and with Metlifecare employees having sufficient breaks, taking leave, and working to create extraordinary living experiences for our residents.This is a 6-month fixed term contract with afterhours work and weekend work included. We envisage the hours being Wed - Fri 12pm - 8pm and Sat/Sun 8am - 4pm, however these may be adjusted slightly to meet the needs of the business.We currently have four staff in our Metflex team and this contract role is to support the workload and provide extra cover outside normal business hours. We require your help to coordinate, schedule, onboard and create great working experiences for our flexible staff as they support our people in filling shifts!Primarily your key tasks will include:Manage after-hours shift requests across all villages.Coordinate and assign temporary employees to available work shifts.Maintain an up-to-date scheduleProactively communicate proposed or agreed solutions with key stakeholdersAdminister payroll approvals and manage uniform requests if required.Maintain and update employee profiles on various systemsMonitor and track employee work hours to prevent scheduling conflicts and ensure compliance.General ad hoc administrative duties related to managing the pool of MetFlex staff.About youWe would love to speak with you if you have previous experience in scheduling, ideally in a fast-paced temp desk/agency, healthcare of hospitality type position. Due to the nature and hours of the role, you will be working quite autonomously at times, so you will have the ability to think on your feet, problem solve last minute changes, are highly organised and have excellent communication both written and verbal. You are not afraid to pick up the phone, are resilient, patient and can work at pace. If you have experience in the aged care industry in a similar role, this would be ideal.
