The New Plymouth Event Venues ticketing team are looking for casual customer service superstars to help deliver exciting events for our vibrant community! Come and join the team selling tickets and touring merchandise for events at our world-class venues, including the TSB Showplace, Yarrow Stadium, TSB Stadium and Bowl of Brooklands! You will be working at events, so weekend and evening availability is essential. You will be joining a supportive and close-knit team and full training will be provided. Tino takohanga - Key responsibilities: Respond to ticketing enquiries and sell tickets to events for NPDC Venues Assist with marketing and promotional activities and ensure all event marketing material is accurate and on display Offer upsells to customers at point of purchase and assist in the delivery of ticketing sales targets Ensure accurate customer information is captured and data is uploaded to the relevant systems Complete end of shift reconciliation of sales, including balancing of EFTPOS and cash transactions Complete post-event debriefs Provide/scanning and wrist-banding services for events as required Merchandise shifts, including restocking, selling items, and end of shift reconciliations Provide administrative support to the wider venues team if required (Marketing, Administration, Business Development etc.) Participate in any mandatory training as required Nga tino pukenga me nga wheako - Essential skills and experience Proven cash handling experience Exceptional customer service skills Can think on your feet Ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment He aha ai a Taranaki?
