We are looking for a new case manager (Legal) to join our team.
Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL) is an independent not-for profit ombudsman and dispute resolution service approved by the Minister of Consumer Affairs under the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with excellent oral, negotiation, and written skills. You will be a good communicator, with strong analytical skills, be adaptable, have an enquiring mind and sound judgment, and be well organised.
The work involves investigating and resolving disputes between consumers and financial service providers, including insurers, non-bank lenders, financial advisers, and fund managers. Your work will include negotiating settlements of complaints, legal research, and writing objective, well-reasoned decisions on cases. The office works cross-functionally and there is an opportunity to contribute to special projects, including policy and outreach work.
A law degree is required and not less than 3 years' PQE. Experience working in the financial services sector and/or for another disputes resolution body is highly desirable.
