Carpenters

We are an established building contractor in Auckland and seeking to recruit skilled carpenters to work in the Auckland region.
Wages will be between $30 to $35 an hour.
Full time work - a minimum of 30 hours a week.
Wages will be paid fortnightly.
The successful candidates will be responsible for building, installing, renovating and repairing structures, fixtures, and other items using different types of materials including wood, plywood and steel.
Tasks: Read drawings and specify quantity and quality of materials, cutting and dimensions
Determine installation and building methods
Setting layout of site, cutting materials and shaping them ready for installation and building
Erecting building frame, roof, trusses, floor structures and sub floor structures
Nailing and fastening panels and substructures, exterior claddings, roofs, doors and window frames to the building
To build and form structures with timber and other materials for installation
To cut and form wood joints
To prepare and construct formwork for concreting
Our Requirements: Three year relevant work experience
Physically fit and healthy
Health and safety conscious
Punctual and hardworking
Own transport
