Job Title: Carpenter

Key tasks and responsibilities:

· Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials, dimensions & installation procedures

· Select correct timbers and materials

· Prepare the layout of the project

· Cut timber, materials, assemble and install parts

· Erect frames and trusses

· Install wallboards and floorboards

· Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding and door and window frames

· Verify trueness of structure

· Interior lining and finish

· Inspect places and conduct repairs, maintenance, or renovations

· Ensure workmanship and observe health and safety regulations

· Any other duties the employer may reasonably require the employee to perform

Pay: Minimum $ 24 / hourMaximum $26 / hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week:permanent full time , Minimum 3 0 hours

Requirements for the job:

· A t least 3 years of relevant work experience

· Be physically fit and healthy

· Full time availability, may work during weekends

New Zealand Driver License

· No criminal record

· Candidates need to be NZ citizen/resident
