Asset Construction are seeking expressions of interest for Carpenter as an integral part of our Auckland crew. We are an innovative and well-established civils company with busy crews in both the Auckland and Northland regions. With loads of work on the go, and lots more confirmed in the pipeline, we are looking for the right fit for our team and our company culture to help us continue to achieve our goals - quality work, done efficiently, delivered constantly.
Your responsibilities includes:
· Complete general building and other associated construction related tasks as part of a team including but not limited to retaining walls, gabion baskets, reno mattresses, minor concrete works, form work and minor structural work etc.;
· Using powertools or handtools as necessary to cut a variety of materials to the required lengths and assemble;
· Select and procure the most suitable materials for the jobs from the plans and drawings; Complete routine inspections including completion of pre- start checklists and minor maintenance;
· Complete accurate daily timesheets materials utilisation by cost code for each task undertaken;
· Construction regarding drainage set up and installation; Assemble and install wooden foundations, frames and other structural elements;
· Ensure all tools and equipment are tidy, cared for & secure at the end of the day; Construct, install, replenish and fix structures, including existing that need repair, as required;
The ideal applicant needs to:
· Have at least 3 years work experience in carpentry or relevant occupation, or relevant qualification equivalent to NZQA Level 4
· Have a firm understanding of the health and safety requirements that need to be upheld on site and be able to ensure they are adhered to.
· Be able to interpret and comprehend plans to ensure accurate builds and be able to collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Pay conditions:
Minimum $29.66 to Maximum $35 per hour depending on experience and skills
Hours of work:
Minimum 30 hours per week is guaranteed.

You will be required to work in Auckland
This role will be permanent and full-time job
