About the role This Carpenter role is part of the Health NZ Waitaha Canterbury's Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) Team.
They are the passionate and dedicated people who keep our facilities operating by maintaining, repairing, and monitoring the technology, systems, and buildings that help keep our hospitals running.
This is a full-time permanent role that will be based at Christchurch Hospital, which requires you to work Monday to Friday.
Some out-of-hours work may be required.
Salary - $73,645 plus phone, uniform, footwear, and tool allowance.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Maintenance and repairs of systems across the Health NZ Canterbury sitesRegular inspection of the joinery and infrastructureAssisting other trade staff on any type of Maintenance and Engineering related workReporting any plant or equipment which appears to be faulty or requires maintenanceCompleting work ordersProcurement of materialsOrganizing supplier quotes.About you This role requires the following:
