How can you Unearth the Possibilities with Nufarm?
We're on the lookout for an experienced and proactive Territory Manager with a strong technical Agronomy background and a love of people and sales to join our Commercial team. In this role, you'll be our 'face in the field' focused on creating demand for Nufarm's product portfolio.
This role will manage the East Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Coromandel, Hauraki & Gisborne region of the North Island, reporting into the North Island Sales Lead. The role will require regular travel; a tool of trade vehicle will be provided.
What will you be doing?
Developing and executing regional sales plans aligned to the national sales strategy.
Preparing and executing customer business plans to achieve gross margin targets.
Developing strong customer relationships through value-adding activities, proactive communication, insightful sales analysis, and technical training acting as the interface between customers and Nufarm.
Contributing to the development of the national sales strategy by identifying and reporting on market intelligence and product/practice trends.
Planning and executing marketing and promotional activities for the assigned territory.
What do you bring?
You're ideally tertiary qualified in Agriculture or bring experience operating in crop protection sales. You bring a passion for the Agricultural industry and a deep understanding of the crop segments in this region.
Technical-minded and customer-focused, you bring excellent business acumen and the ability to communicate, negotiate, influence, and develop constructive relationships with clients including channel partners and growers. You enjoy growing and developing constructive relationships with internal teams and customers alike, and you're results-driven, collaborative, and outcome-oriented.
Experience in using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce.com) for customer data input, account management, and analysis will be highly regarded.
