In this role you will support the National Stocktake Manager with the execution of the National Stocktake Schedule, as well as assisting them in conducting stock takes within Woolworths Supermarkets. You will also complete stocktakes when the National Stocktake Manager is unavailable.

We have an exciting opportunity where the right person can add significant value to our business and our customers. This is the perfect role for someone who loves analysing numbers and communicating with key stakeholders across the business. You will be part of our Finance division based in Auckland.
Please note, this is an on-the-road role, and you will be required to travel throughout New Zealand.
Some of your new responsibilities will be to:
Maintain an efficient Stocktake team for the Northern Region through coaching and supervision of the core team
Manage the implementation of new system and change requirements
Provide clear and direct communication to team members to ensure targets and deadlines are met during stocktakes
Organise Travel and Accommodation for the Northern Regional team
Execute wage and non-wage CODB
Provide input into the organisation and planning of the annual Stocktake Calendar
Consistently deliver quality service, which meets customer expectations
Provide specific direction for team(s) so that expectations are clear
Be able to travel throughout the upper North Island and stay away from home for two to three nights when required
Have high attention to detail (PI is vital to our stores' success)
Excellent time management skills - There will be times where the Incumbent is expected to work long hours but this can be mitigated with extra downtime.
Empowered to make decisions to combat day-to-day issues as they arise
Organise work in a logical and effective manner
Ability to manage and inspire team - A core team, and then the challenges associated with a different team every day
Keep calm under pressure
Previous stocktake and retail experience, coupled with proficiency in Google and Excel
