Career Development Consultant Pacific Work Connect at Tertiary Education Commission, Hamilton Career Development Consultant (Pacific Work Connect) Hamilton/Waikato - Fixed term.
We have an exciting new opportunity in the Pacific Work Connect programme to help eligible Pacific People build the skills they need to obtain meaningful employment in New Zealand.

We are looking for a Career Development Consultant, based in the Waikato region, through until 27 June 2026 .
The Pacific Work Connect programme sits within our Business and Partnerships team (B&P) which is the team inside TEC responsible for all relationships between non-TEO stakeholders and the TEC.
The B&P team has a core function in supporting the delivery of TEC's Careers work and maintaining relationships and partnerships across all regions in New Zealand.
About the role Provide one-to-one career guidance and coaching services to Pacific peoples Deliver workshops and training programmes at a high professional standard Build and maintain partnerships with Pacific communities to promote the programme Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Pacific Work Connect programme pilot Collaborate with a high-performing team, uphold the team values, and contribute to our highly supportive culture Some travel within Aotearoa/New Zealand may be required from time to time.

Passion and commitment to support our Pacific People from all walks of life.
Your existing networks in Pacific communities and your abilities to develop new relationships Proven experience providing quality one-to-one career guidance and coaching services Experience in developing and delivering training programmes, workshops, and presentations at a high professional standard to a varied audience Experience working with Pacific people Bilingual; the ability to speak a Pacific language and English is essential A driver's licence and the flexibility to travel to our Auckland office and cover the Waikato region.
