Little Sisters of the Poor Aged Care – Brockville, South Island
Casual Care Workers are needed to join the passionate team at Little Sisters of the Poor in Brockville Road Dunedin. In this rewarding role, you will provide exceptional care and support to the elderly residents living in our aged care facility. With a focus on promoting independence and wellbeing, you will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement to ensure our residents enjoy a high quality of life.
What you'll be doing
Assist residents with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
Encourage social activities and engagement to enhance residents' quality of life
Observe and report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centred care
What we're looking for
Caring, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting the elderly
Experience in aged care or disability support (desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Commitment to promoting the independence and dignity of our residents
