This position is located in our well-equipped Cardiology department where we undertake a wide range of investigations including: Cardiac angiograms, pacemaker/ICD insertions and all cardiac physiological testing.

Our Cardiology team prides itself on being friendly and supportive and works with the people of our community to promote, encourage, and enable their health, well-being, and independence. This role would be best suited to a person who values teamwork, respects individual needs, and is motivated by excellent clinical outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time position working up to 80 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday between 7.00am to 6.00pm), no on-call.

The salary for this position is within the range $102,298 - $115,807 per annum pro rata as per the APEX Sonographers Collective, dependent on skills, experience and relevant qualifications. Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?) You will have:

Either the DMU or QUT post graduate qualification (or equivalent). Full registration with the MRTB, and a current annual practising certificate in Cardiac Ultrasound. Able to provide fully comprehensive echo reports. Excellent technical skills and knowledge. Well-developed communication, critical thinking skills and a commitment to family centred care. Be capable of working independently and within a small team. A strong commitment to quality healthcare. You will also be versatile and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
