We currently have a vacancy for a Capital Works/Network - Operator based in Waipawa who will be responsible for operating and maintaining water, wastewater and stormwater reticulation networks in our Central Hawkes Bay area.

What you'll be responsible for
Work as part of a team to deliver the operations and maintenance of the Central Hawkes Bay 3 waters networks
Installation of new connections, assets and assisting in the delivery of network and treatment renewals.
Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance on the 3 waters networks
Act as a point of contact for customer requests for service.
Accurately log all reports and jobs, completing the necessary paperwork.
Undertake such general duties as required for the effective provisions of services to the community and client.
Be part of an on-call roster
What you'll need to be successful
Class 1 Licence essential although Class 2 Licence will be an advantage
Wheels, Tracks and Roller endorsements (however this can be arranged for the right candidate)
Experience in 3 waters operations, such as reticulated network maintenance, drain laying, wastewater maintenance or civil works.
National Certification in Pipeline and Construction Maintenance (Preferred) or similar.
TTM Experience TMO - STMS CAT A/B
Proven ability to maintain accurate work records
Ability and willingness to work out of hours when required
Good communication and organisational skills
Basic to Intermediate computer skills
Understanding the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace
