Here, you'll have the opportunity to build your career and resource the world.We currently have a vacancy for a Capital Works/Network - Operator based in Waipawa who will be responsible for operating and maintaining water, wastewater and stormwater reticulation networks in our Central Hawkes Bay area.Company description:Veolia Environmental ServicesJob description:The OpportunityWaipawa, Hawkes BayFull time$26 - $31 per hourWhat's on offerOn the job training and career developmentA great team-working environmentCompetitive hourly rateEmployee share plan where employees have the opportunity to purchase discounted Veolia sharesEmployee assistance programs (EAP) through assure which covers mental health, nutrition, financial, legal, coaching and career transition supportWhat you'll be responsible forWork as part of a team to deliver the operations and maintenance of the Central Hawkes Bay 3 waters networksInstallation of new connections, assets and assisting in the delivery of network and treatment renewals.Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance on the 3 waters networksAct as a point of contact for customer requests for service.Accurately log all reports and jobs, completing the necessary paperwork.Undertake such general duties as required for the effective provisions of services to the community and client.Be part of an on-call rosterWhat you'll need to be successfulClass 1 Licence essential although Class 2 Licence will be an advantageWheels, Tracks and Roller endorsements (however this can be arranged for the right candidate)Experience in 3 waters operations, such as reticulated network maintenance, drain laying, wastewater maintenance or civil works.National Certification in Pipeline and Construction Maintenance (Preferred) or similar.TTM Experience TMO - STMS CAT A/BProven ability to maintain accurate work recordsAbility and willingness to work out of hours when requiredGood communication and organisational skillsBasic to Intermediate computer skillsUnderstanding the importance of Health and Safety in the workplaceA Veolia CareerWe value diversity, equality and inclusion, and we are committed to providing working environments where everyone is included and treated fairly and with respect.
