Working to deliver design and construction projects, you will be involved in some incredibly interesting work where no two days will be the same!The team has a culture of supporting each other with their high level of skills and expertise and you can draw on each other's knowledge and experience.Reporting to the Manager, Design and Construction, you will ensure strategy is able to be rolled out as planned, to successfully complete the phases of execution and closure.Other key responsibilities will include:Managing the design and construction phases of assigned projects.Contributing to the feasibility phase and concept design of projects assigned to future delivery of the team.Project deliverables follow Watercare's Project Management Framework.Working with stakeholders across the organisation including external contractors and consultants.A strong focus on health, safety and wellbeing.To be successful in this role you will bring a proven ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders and strong adaptable interpersonal, communication and business partnering skills.Your skills will also include:A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.A strong background in engineering and 5-10 years of project management experience.Strong analytical skills with high level of attention to detail.Whilst not critical, experience in water and/or wastewater industry would be ideal.We offer a competitive salary and staff benefits package including:Training and development opportunitiesLife and income protection insurance plansGenerous parental leave policyEmployee discounts at a range of large retailersModern offices in the heart of Newmarket with easy access to public transportDiscounted parkingAn onsite free gymMe pehea te tono mai | How to ApplyCome and join our team!
