Job Description: Markel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Call Center Manager to join our team on a part-time basis.
This position will be remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 8 years of experience in call center management, you will play a crucial role in leading our team to success.
Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the call center, ensuring efficiency and productivity - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction - Monitor and analyze call center performance metrics, making adjustments as needed to meet KPIs - Train, mentor, and coach call center agents to enhance their skills and performance - Handle escalated customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve call center operations - Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on call center performance and initiatives Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in call center management - Resourceful and resilient personality traits - Strong research and project management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and call center software - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred) Benefits: - Company transportation - Free food - Dental insurance Working Environment: At Markel, we strive to inject a sense of joy and vibrancy into the work environment.
