Full Time Cafe Supervisor Position.
Min of 32-40 hours per week.
Supervise and guide cafe staff with guidance from Executive Chef, to ensure smooth and efficient cafe operations.
Manage FOH (Front of House) staff to enhance the resident experience.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or special requests, and managing the resident experience.
Work with Head Chef and Village Co-Ordinator on catering and special events, including menu planning, preparation, and timely service for gatherings and functions.
Collaborate with the chef on menu planning, including cabinet offerings, and work closely with the chef to ensure that menu items are prepared and presented consistently.Ensure that food and beverages meet quality standards, maintaining a focus on taste, presentation, and food safety.
Monitor and manage cafe inventory, including restocking supplies, tracking stock levels, and placing orders when necessary.
Oversee procedures, monitor POS and Eftpos transactions to ensure accurate and secure processing of payments.Maintain sales records, provide receipts, and make change as required with approval.
Maintain a clean and hygienic cafe environment, following safety and cleanliness protocols, and conducting periodic inspections.
Train and mentor cafe staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.Collect and analyze customer feedback to make improvements in service quality and menu offerings.
Plan, coordinate, and execute special events, promotions, and themed activities within the cafe.
Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff schedules for reporting and analysis.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards.
You need to have either 3 years relevant work experience, which can include hospitality and retail sales/management OR a relevant qualification (level 4 minimum).
