Zest & Zeal Investments Limited proudly operates Ripples Cafe on the Marina in Gulf Harbour, a vibrant waterfront destination known for its welcoming atmosphere and high-quality service. We are seeking a dedicated Cafe Manager to lead our team, ensuring a memorable experience for every guest.The job responsibilities are as follows:Oversee all aspects of café operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service flow.Manage daily activities to uphold service standards and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.Recruit, train, and mentor staff to achieve excellence in customer service and foster team growth.Assess staff performance, providing constructive feedback and arranging ongoing training.Work closely with kitchen staff to curate an attractive menu, adjusting based on customer feedback and seasonal needs.Create and manage staff schedules to ensure full coverage and seamless daily operations.Execute opening and closing procedures as needed, ensuring readiness for each shift.Coordinate catering and special events, maintaining clear communication with the kitchen team for smooth execution.Supervise both front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure a positive, high-quality guest experience.Proactively address customer inquiries and staff concerns, maintaining a supportive café environment.Monitor stock levels to maintain a fully supplied café at all times.Track daily finances, collaborating with management to enhance profitability and growth opportunities.Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and uphold café standards.Enforce health and safety guidelines throughout the café to protect both staff and patrons.Manage inventory orders, handle food supply logistics, and oversee financial aspects of stock management.Ensure all food is served fresh and stored at proper temperatures for customer safety.Must be able to market and develop the business to achieve the required targets.You are required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week, and you will be paid between $30 to $34 per hour.Requirements for the role:Must hold a minimum of 1 year of work experience in the field of management. (Experience in the field of hospitality is not mandatory. A suitable candidate with a good understanding of business management and development is also welcome to apply for this role.)Relevant tertiary qualification is a bonus but not mandatory.Available to work on weekends.Physically fit to stand for longer hours.Must be able to start early.Team worker with strong interpersonal skills.Good coordination skills.Leadership skills.Attention to detail.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hourSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftEvening shift
