We are an award-winning historic and tourism destination that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, from all over Aotearoa and the world.
As well as events, conferences and weddings we have our own Whare Waka Cafe which is also the venue for our popular evening Hangi & Concert summer offering.
What you'll be doing | Te whakamahere We are seeking hospitality heroes to fill 2 x fixed-term part-time positions (min.
20hrs) to: Provide high standard food and beverage service effectively and consistently.
Work a varied role in Whare Waka Cafe supporting daytime and nighttime offerings.
Opportunity to support the events team with conferences, weddings, and other events.
Be a key part of the success of Waitangi commemorations - hosting VIPs.
Please note this is a FIXED-TERM position from 01 October 2024 - 31 March 2025.
What you'll need to be successful | O Pukenga Our ideal candidates will: Have experience working in hospitality.
Be personable, positive, and have an enthusiastic mindset.
Take pride in providing quality customer service and making connections.
Be reliable and hard working.
Be flexible to work evenings, days, and weekends.
