Ca Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic CA Team Leader to join the Forecourt team on a permanent basis at Washer Road!
Reporting to the Forecourt Manager, you will assist in effectively leading the forecourt team, as well ensuring there are trained employees available to assist with providing fruit to the packhouse and loading/unloading trucks. You will need to ensure fruit is handled safely while being responsible for accurate documentation and minimizing truck turnaround time.
This role is key in developing robust controlled atmosphere (CA) loading procedures that ensure the controlled atmosphere rooms, canopies, and cold curing stores are effective, safe, and addressing awareness around data accuracy, library samples, and side entry bins.
Successful candidates will need to have:
The ability to make sound decisions when under pressure.
Effective leadership to organise and motivate a team to achieve results.
Mechanical aptitude and practical skills – an ability to deal with technical issues as they arise.
Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
Licensed and competent forklift operator.
Excellent computer skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and time management.
Experience in monitoring refrigeration equipment is preferred but not essential.
This role would suit someone who can be flexible with the highs and lows of seasonal work which will include working extended hours and weekends at times.
