This Buyer – Footwear role is critical to our success and your key responsibilities are complex and exciting!We're looking for a customer-focused Buyer, balanced in commercial approach and creative eye plus technical knowledge in Footwear.Key responsibilities will include:Working cross-functionally to maximise delivery of commercial plans including sales, margin & inventoryBuilding and curating a cohesive and compelling range that resonates with our diverse customer base and delivers to category strategy.Maximising opportunities and managing risk to financial plans.Working to critical path milestones and managing product life cycle.Deep-diving into sales data, analysing trends, and drawing actionable insights. Reporting findings and proposing actions to stakeholders, providing valuable information that shapes our business strategies.Working closely with Sourcing and suppliers to meet our customers' needs.QualificationsBringing a combination of commercial acumen, creative eye and insightful decision-making. Your stakeholder engagement and communication skills will serve as key strengths for seamless collaboration.To be successful for this role you will have:Experience as a Buyer in Footwear – you can point to some notable personal achievements and commercial successTechnical knowledge/design experience in footwearStrong negotiation skillsSolid category management experience within retailExperience developing branded and own brand categoriesStrong commercial acumen and analytical skillsA customer driven mindsetThe ability to trade utilising promotional activity and advertising to maximum effectCollaborative working style and excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skillsDecisiveness in a fast-moving environment as well as a resilient and driven natureThe ability to build long term sustainable partnershipsAdditional InformationCome work with us!Agility and collaboration are cornerstones of our work culture, empowering us to adapt swiftly and work seamlessly together.
