With our opening date set for November 2024, we are seeking a tech-savvy Buyer 2IC to join the team. As a department leader, you'll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an awesome shopping experience for our community.
The Role
As Buyer 2IC your key focus will be ensuring our inventory is as accurate as possible through stock management and data analysis. You'll work closely with the On Shelf Availability Manager to manage stock flow and levels across the store.
Create and utilise reports and inventory management systems to identify issues before they occur and design creative and preventative practices and solutions.
Maintain and work to stock control procedures – keeping product maintenance up to date.
Recording and checking of gains and losses, monitor stock in credits and maintain visibility of dated stock.
Daily gap scanning – analysing gaps and looking into inventory settings to ensure gaps are reduced.
Reviewing centralised buying planograms.
Ranging.

What we're looking for:
Proven capability with SAP within a supermarket.
Previous buying experience is advantageous.
Understanding of inventory and stock flow.
Data-driven – comfortable reviewing data and looking for ways to improve within store.
Process driven and analytical.
Autonomous worker.
