Butcher

We are seeking a Butcher to join our busy team in Hamilton. This is a full time role (minimum of 30 hours a week, no more than 45 hours per week).
The role: Butcher
You will be responsible for:

To prepare meat including removing bones, trimming fat, cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size for display or for orders.
To prepare crumbled cuts of meat and marinating, seasoning and curing special cuts.
To operate machines for grinding, mixing, mincing and tenderising meat
To select and prepare meat to produce products
To make seasonings and pickles by mixing some ingredient such as salt, spices etc.
To operate sausage filling machines and cooking kettles and vats
To advise clients on the use of meat

Minimum work hour: 30 hours per weekwage range: $32.00 – 36.00
To be successful in this role, you are required to have:

A relevant NZ certificate Level 4 or high qualification, or
3 years relevant work experience
New Zealand local relevant work experience is preferable
