Business Support Administrator

Details of the offer

Are you ready to dive into a varied role where every day brings new challenges?

Do you want to be part of an expanding agri-business?

Are you looking for flexibility with a chance to grow your experience in a small, supportive team?

About the Role
Our client is a farming business with several dairying operations in the Southland region. Based in Invercargill, primarily in the owners' home office, you will be working closely with them, as well as the on-farm management teams, to provide general business and administrative support.

Importantly, our client needs support as their business expands and depending on your skillset, you would work across a range of areas including:

accounts administration

HR tasks - recruitment processes, employment documentation and recording keeping

health and safety administration

farm maintenance reporting and stock reconciliation

on-farm property inspections

maintaining plant and vehicle maintenance records

purchasing farm materials

minute taking for on-farm and business meetings.

About You
You will ideally have previous experience working in an administrative role with a proven knowledge of efficient office systems. With strong written and oral communication skills, you will take pride in the accuracy of your work.

You will be well-organised and a good planner; able to prioritise your workload and coordinate a variety of tasks. You'll also be tech-savvy – particularly with Microsoft Office and business applications.

Familiarity with health and safety requirements would be an advantage, as would an understanding of rural life as a dairy farmer. However, if you're keen to learn the industry and adapt your skills to a new environment, we welcome your application!

This role is 30 hours per week (worked across 4 – 5 days per week) but has the potential to grow to full-time as the business expands.

Contact Tracey at HR South on ****** to learn more about the role or click the link to apply. If you're friendly, proactive and able to work independently, we would love to hear from you!
