About the role: The Business Rules Lead will play a key role in building and developing the Enterprise Rules Management Practice for MSD. The role will be part of the Te Pae Tawhiti Business Process and Rules Management workstream and is responsible for the design, development and implementation of Business Rules standards, methods, and deliverables to enable the Te Pae Tawhiti transformation programme.
You will collaborate with programme leaders, support practitioners in adopting business rules approaches, and advocate for the strategic value of business rules within the Ministry.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of a business rules framework across the Te Pae Tawhiti programme.Ensure alignment of business rules with enterprise policies, business processes, and industry best practices.Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage dependencies and outcomes related to business rules.Champion the business rules management function and drive its value within the programme and wider MSD.Lead the development of governance processes and ensure quality assurance for business rules.Build and mentor a Community of Practice to enhance business rules capabilities across MSD.As a Business Rules Lead, you join a team that embeds best practice standards for managing business processes and rules at MSD. You will help develop the synergy between these disciplines and uplift how they are utilised throughout the delivery of work.
What You'll Bring: Experience: Extensive experience in leading business rules design and implementation in large organisations or transformation programmes.Knowledge: Strong understanding of business rules lifecycle management and methods, programme and delivery methodologies, and governance processes.Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor staff, and collaborate effectively across multiple business units.Strategic Focus: Ability to ensure business rules align with programme strategy and contribute to risk management and quality assurance.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong at building partnerships, and able to influence stakeholders and drive engagement with business rules.Coaching and Mentoring: Ability to coach others in applying rules management techniques in complex work settings.Skills and experience in facilitating group sessions and workshops are an advantage.If you have the necessary skills and experience, we look forward to hearing from you!
Salary range: $142,530.00 - $210,966.00
