Position Title: Operational Improvement LeadDepartment: Parks & Community Facilities (PCF)Role Overview:Lead and manage operational improvement initiatives that deliver value, focusing on process optimisation and creating a pipeline of improvement initiatives.PCF is dedicated to making great places Aucklanders love by supporting various services such as asset maintenance, management, and renewals of Parks, Open Spaces, Buildings, Facilities, Conservation Areas, and Urban Ngahere (forest). As kaitiaki (guardian) of Auckland Council parks and facilities, we play a vital role in promoting the wellbeing of our communities and environment while delivering strategically significant programmes.Key Responsibilities:Drive the Parks & Community Facilities business improvement programme forward, ensuring value for money for stakeholders.Analyze business activity to develop a pipeline of process and system improvement activities.Facilitate collaborative problem solving and identify improvement opportunities.Support and coach staff to be customer-centric, ensuring success is measured and realized.Integrate internal and external business operations and achieve best practices consistently across the department.Minimum Qualifications:Proven experience in the investigation and analysis of business operations, as well as delivery of process/systems improvements that are customer-focused.
