We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Trade Coordinator to join our Business Events team! New Zealand is the ultimate Business Events destination.

The Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) Business Events team's role is to enable the New Zealand business events industry to bid for and win international business events that bring significant benefits to our country both financial and non-financial.

This team is recognised as an industry leader for international conference bidding, best practices in delegate marketing and creating business opportunities to grow New Zealand's visitor & knowledge economies.

This role is responsible for delivering successful trade events, both in New Zealand and internationally, and is critical to the success of the business events team.

The role supports the Business Development and Marketing teams by delivering exceptional events to grow awareness and engagement with New Zealand as a business events destination.

What You Will Need: Nga pukenga mo tenei turanga
The role requires a highly motivated administrator and event coordinator who has loads of initiative and who thrives in a busy environment.

Strong organisational, logistics and event management experience

Exceptional administration skills and working knowledge of Microsoft products

Writing and editing skills, with a good eye for detail

Experience with managing and mitigating health and safety risks

Knowledge or experience in the New Zealand tourism industry or Business Events would be advantageous
