About the role Reporting to the Business Development Director in Auckland, you will be responsible for supporting the firm's business development and communications functions. You will take a lead role in the management and preparation of the firm's Wellington office tenders and proposal responses, assist with legal directory submissions, and support the firm's key client and industry sector programmes. You will work closely with the Auckland BD team members, Wellington Partners and a range of other key internal stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 3 years experience in a corporate environment. The ability to build positive working relationships and manage multiple priorities and pressures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exposure to RFPs, strategic tender writing and end-to-end bid management. Demonstrated confidence, steering meetings with clarity to drive successful outcomes. A proactive approach to your work - the ability to work autonomously on tasks unprompted and anticipate needs. Unparalleled attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy. Strong editing and proofreading skills. First-rate planning and organisational skills. An interest in law, business and Government. A positive and enthusiastic, happy to help attitude with the ability to be flexible and operate as part of a team. Prior business development and/or marketing and communications experience, particularly within a professional services firm or government environment is an advantage.
