Our client is looking for Business Development Managers to drive the growth nationally of their Juniper, Checkpoint, and F5 brands.You'll focus on hunting and closing business by developing and maintaining key relationships and executing marketing and sales strategies with support from the marketing team. These will incorporate Vendor initiatives, KPI's or MBO's, channel sales enablement, and training.Responsible for developing a Business within a Business, this role takes complete ownership and responsibility for all aspects of successfully building and developing the reseller community and revenues for our client for its aligned vendors.ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in the role you will have proven experience within the New Zealand technology market, a strong understanding of related technologies, and excellent virtual or direct team leadership qualities. Responsibilities include:Develop the 'Net New' pipeline and manage forecast reporting out of CRMBe primarily an outbound resource that maintains a high call cycle across the reseller channel, developing and maintaining high-quality relationships with key business influencersBe responsible for the end-to-end sales cycle from inception to closure of opportunityCommercially astute with the ability to apply technological competitive advantage to win dealsOwn, maintain, and grow strong business relationships between the Vendor and Reseller communityUnderstand and build new markets for the assigned Vendor portfolioDevelop and execute a Strategic Business plan, in consultation with key internal stakeholders and VendorsYour significant sales skills and passion to build on key account relationships to identify new opportunities coupled with your passion for the technology industry, will lead to your success.Bring your outstanding negotiation and communication skills to the forefront and be equally rewarded for closing opportunities. You'll enjoy reporting, forecasting, and rating the deals in your pipeline; understanding the value that this skill set adds to your success.
