About the Role
Based in Auckland, with travel throughout the country (approximately 4-5 nights per month, adjustable to fit the candidate's needs), you will drive the company's growth strategy by acquiring new business across various sectors, including large-format retail, education, healthcare, large hospitality and food preparation, manufacturing sites and large commercial buildings. If you are currently selling into two or more of these sectors, that would be beneficial.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement a business development plan focused on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
Pipeline Management: Actively seek new business opportunities and manage leads in strategic market segments.
Prospecting: Conduct cold calling and face-to-face visits.
Quote Preparation: Create and present quotes, with training and support provided.
Collaboration: Work closely with the NZ General Manager and Operations Management to ensure exceptional service and delivery, exceeding client expectations.
Client Reviews: Serve as the primary contact for quarterly client reviews.
Territory Management: Manage a designated territory, primarily focusing on the Auckland region while covering clients nationwide.
Administration: Complete all reporting and administrative tasks.
