The role:
Ideally based in Christchurch and reporting to the General Manager – LDX, you will have ownership over the growth of our sales, rentals and leases in your territory which covers the whole of the South Island. You will be required to have technical knowledge of Material Handling units.
Responsibilities: Really get to know your customer base (existing and new), who are they, what are their needs, and how we can add value to assist them Create and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets Establish new business opportunities - the sky is the limit Manage the client database for your territory Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and units to clients Maintain, add to, and update weekly the CRM Prepare proposals and tender documentation Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery, incentives, merchandising techniques, etc. We are ideally looking for: Working knowledge of forklift and associated industries Previous experience in capital equipment sales and rental Familiar with MS Office Suite and CRM's Excellent customer service skills to exceed customer expectations Able to work flexible hours as required as travel is required in this role Hungry and motivated to make your mark Able to work without direct supervision with high integrity Respects and has a basic understanding of Health and Safety procedures Current holder of NZ work visa, resident, or citizenship If you're keen to be part of a dynamic and collaborative work environment, we can't wait to see your application by hitting APPLY NOW, or pop Brooke a confidential call on 0211907520.
