We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional with excellent relationship, customer focus, and people skills to join our high-performing Northern Region Commercial Markets Team in Auckland as Business Development Manager to support our broker channel and continue the growth.
Supporting the Northern Regional Manager, you will be ready to take the leap into the Auckland market, making a valuable contribution to the business strategy.
Helping our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment, you'll be responsible for: Managing and growing a portfolio of clients across a variety of Commercial Lines products including Property, Liability, and Motor.
Generating new business and maximizing premium and renewal retention, whilst maintaining strong underwriting principles.
Broker training and presentations.
Building strong client relationships to grow the Ando business.
You show the following qualities: A strong team player, proactively taking measures to develop strong networks internally and externally.
Solid experience across multiple commercial lines of business including Property, Liability, and Motor.
Proven track record in growing a portfolio of business within the NZ insurance market with the ability to balance risk and commerciality in underwriting decisions.
Great sales discipline, with the ability to set and achieve growth targets.
Excellent communication skills with a strong client focus.
The flexibility to adapt and evolve with the business.
Ability to travel when necessary.
