By pairing our own local knowledge with the extensive technical capabilities and international experience of our partner GE, we are proud to develop products that exceed expectations.THE ROLEBased in Auckland and reporting to the National Sales Manager – New Zealand, the purpose of this role is to develop new business and deliver exceptional customer service to the NZ retail channel and other lighting marketplaces. Key responsibilities include:Develop new commercial business and business opportunities, and expand the customer base.Drive and manage sales opportunities to deliver budgets and GP margins, through providing customer service and developing solutions at a price and margin that is acceptable to the company and the customer.Ensure customers receive elevated levels of service through close and timely management of projects.Establish and maintain a regular call cycle with our key retail and commercial partners.Prioritise the follow-up of quotations and designs to ensure maximum return.Promote and demonstrate new products to customers.Manage and develop customer accounts through:New product releases.Sales and product presentations.Product training.Sales and marketing promotions.Ensure all customer enquiries, quoting and invoicing are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.Provide regular feedback on market trends and customer liaison.Work closely with the internal sales team (customer service representatives).Attend meetings, seminars, presentations etc. that are of benefit to the development of the business.ABOUT YOUTo be considered, you will ideally have experience as a Wholesale Sales Rep or Business Development Manager within the lighting or related industry.
