Lower North Island (Palmerston North to New Plymouth) Relationship Management in the trade sector Work from home Be part of a market leading company About The Role: Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, this is a key business development role and a great opportunity to make your mark in this market leading company.
Covering the Lower North Island Region (Gisborne, Taupo, Rotorua, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu, Taranaki), we are looking for a self-motivated, autonomous, and driven individual to grow sales in the region by developing strong relationships in the trade sector, understanding our customers' needs, and driving our regional strategy.
You will be responsible for: Supporting and building our trade customer base by networking and prospecting within the trade sector including plumbers, merchants, heating engineers, architects, and other trades.
Growing the business by managing incoming leads, developing proposals, and working collaboratively with other teams across the business.
Keeping up to date with product knowledge, being an expert in all Central Heating products.
Delighting the customer by providing high levels of service, promptly dealing with and resolving any customer issues, and providing ongoing support.
Working with the in-house business systems and associated administration tasks.
Skills & Experience: This is a crucial role for the region, and a high work ethic and drive will be important for success.
We seek an energetic, positive, willing to learn, and down to earth person, ideally possessing the following characteristics: Fast learner of technical concepts.
Self-motivated, driven and a go-getter.
Knowledge of the HVAC, plumbing, or trades sector and merchant channels.
Computer savvy, including experience with CRM and accounting systems.
High level of administrative skills.
Exceptional customer relationship management skills, ideally with an existing network in this sector.
Ability to connect and engage with a wide range of people.
