About the role:As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for: Using your knowledge and network to identify, engage, influence and bring customers to Catalyst Cloud Being the 'face' of Catalyst Cloud, becoming a trusted advisor with potential customers and partners Bringing a customer-centric perspective to our discussions and directions, championing customer service and directing the improvement of our cloud services by amplifying their voice within Catalyst Cloud Enhance and grow Catalyst Cloud's ecosystem by identifying and working with new partner organisations Identify potential additional product and focus areas for new or enhanced Catalyst Cloud offerings and to enhance customer experience Engagement and coverage plans for your territory, customers and opportunities Demonstrating consistent achievement against revenue targets and other metrics.
You will also advance your learning and development by; Participating in relevant training, whether this is you learning from others or being the teacher Guiding fellow team members with your technical and customer knowledge You will be a self starter, with a strong New Zealand network and good experience in Sales and Account Management in the IT sector.
You communicate well and are willing and able to create plans, proposals, presentations and whatever is required to progress opportunities, working with the team.You will be ably assisted and surrounded by a passionate team of open source technologists who believe in the importance of data sovereignty and investing in infrastructure for the future of New Zealand.
You will be able to drive your own ideas and engage with the team to make sure you achieve the best results.
Note that this role is salary only, so without a commission or at risk component.
