About The CompanyOur client is a leader in the waste management and commercial services industry who have had massive growth in recent years. With headquarters in Christchurch and an established South Island footprint, this is an exciting time to join a business and play a pivotal role in assisting the companies' ambition for future growth.About The RoleReporting to the Head of Sales, the Business Development Manager will strategically plan and implement sales growth initiatives in the Southland and Otago regions. Key responsibilities include:Grow revenue and achieve sales targets through acquiring new business opportunities and managing and retaining relationships with existing customers.Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and updating status regularly.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and enhance sales effectiveness.Maintain and enhance product knowledge to ensure technical expertise.Collaborate with internal teams to optimise product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market insights, and potential growth opportunities.Model a strong customer service culture and liaise with sales and regional team members to ensure fulfilment of service in line with service level agreements.Sales forecasting and pipeline management.About You5+ years' experience in a similar role with a proven track record acquiring new business.Experience in the waste management or transport industries highly advantageous.Strong communications and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.Strong written and verbal skills with excellent attention to detail.You will be dynamic and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience in utilisation of CRM systems.Apply Now!To find out more, please get in touch with Siobhan Chaney on 0272062735 for a confidential chat.To apply for this vacancy you MUST be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand and therefore hold a valid visa.At Tribe we have our guiding light to show us the way.
