We are seeking a proactive and trustworthy Business Development Manager to join the team of a construction company based in Tauranga.
Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with current clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
Looking for someone with the following experience:
Proven experience in sales/business development, preferably within construction or related industries
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to identify business opportunities and assess client needs
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Trustworthy and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently
Ability to maintain records, provide reports and utilize the company management software
Your key Responsibilities will include:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic goals
Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and industry partners
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that showcase the company
Actively participate in tender processes, leading the tender submission process
Develop pricing strategies and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability
Collaborate closely with the project teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction
Salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience, with discussions up to circa $130,000. Benefits for this role will include a commission component and vehicle.
