With our focus on customer satisfaction and employee well-being, FSS is not just a great place to work; it's a family.The Role:As a Business Development Manager at FSS, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, targeting pivotal sectors and industries. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and capitalize on relationships with both new and existing clients to drive business growth.We are looking for someone who can lead a change in how we market our services. The emphasis will be on your interpersonal and communication skills.This full-time (40 hrs week Monday to Friday) role is located in our Penrose office. The role covers our Auckland region – Warkworth in the north to Pukekohe in the south.Key Responsibilities:Motivated to exceed sales targets and create trusted partnerships with customersCultivate new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationshipsOffer a consultative sales approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each clientEnsure clear and concise communication both internally and externallyDeliver regular reports and insightful recommendations to managementTake proactive steps to engage with the industry and acquire new income streamsMeet Business Development KPIs and budget targetsKeep CRM (Pipedrive) updated with accurate informationConduct cold calls and sales appointmentsAbout You:To be successful in this role, you'll need:Strong sales skills with a background in the service industryExcellent interpersonal skills for building relationshipsClear, concise communication skillsStrategic thinking and execution of growth-oriented plansCommitment to understanding and addressing client needsTrack record of achieving ambitious sales goalsIndustry experience would be an advantageEffective collaboration with internal teamsInterpersonal skillsConsultative approachMarketing experienceCommitment to integrity, honesty, and professionalismFull Driver LicenceJoin the Fire Security Services (FSS) Team!At FSS, we're not just in the fire protection industry; we're in the business of saving lives.
