The role As a Business Development Manager, some of your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
Identify, develop and nurture genuine business relationships with clients.Market and sell the range of Equinox IT services to support our growth objectives.Manage existing and new business relationships to maximise Equinox IT's chances for repeat business.Deliver other business objectives the company will have from time to time, including input to business strategy and planning.Understand what drives our consultants, fully understand their capabilities and strive to secure work that, as much as possible, meets their requirements and the company's interest.Conduct market research to identify industry trends and opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs and ensure successful project delivery. Assist in the development of existing and new products.Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.Some things you will need to have A strong local network of contacts.Previous vendor sales or presales experience.Confidence to speak to, and influence, multiple levels of decision-maker from manager to executives.Ability to influence through strong communication and sales presentation skills.Some of the things we would like you to have Awareness of consulting practices including Architecture, Cloud, DevOps, Business Analysis and Managed Services.In return for your skills and experience, we will give you an truly talented bunch of people to work with, learn from and collaborate with.What's in it for you This is a permanent, full-time positionA collegial atmosphere working with other consultants who love the challenge of helping people improveA respectful work environment that values individual strengthsFlexible working when you need itProfessional development including training, workshops, courses, conferencesCareer coaching with like-minded people to help you achieve your personal and/or professional goal(s)Medical and income protection insuranceStaff eventsOur clients know us as a consultancy that breeds success through investing in our team.
