Sprocket Digital is a data-driven marketing agency based in Penrose, Auckland. Our team are highly experienced and proven digital marketing experts in creating and deploying performance-based strategies for businesses both locally and offshore. Over the last eight years, we have consistently delivered growth to our clients and proven ourselves as a market leader. A Little Bit About the Role: As a key part of the Sprocket team, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and growing our portfolio. Client selection is crucial to the success of this role; we are looking for long-term partnerships with businesses that want to scale. Your days will be focused on meeting with business owners, learning about their industry and discussing the right digital marketing strategies to meet their goals. What We Are Looking For: You will be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in digital solution sales. A driven individual who is motivated by excelling, you will always put the best interests of a customer first. What You Would Be Doing: Prospecting and managing your CRM database Connecting with prospective clients via cold calling/emailing, networking and setting appointments Talking with business owners, understanding their needs and taking them through digital marketing strategies Engaging only with businesses that are a good fit for Sprocket, i.e., building mutually beneficial partnerships Key Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of recent and proven Business Development experience Must demonstrate a strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and strategies Knowledge of e-commerce business strategies Ability to talk business with business owners High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present to groups Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Strong organisational, time management, and analytical skills Ethical vetting process and sales approach What's In It For You?
